When my grandfather died, he left me a his house, which had a huge amount of land. He never used the land for anything, and many people suggested that he start a garden with it, but he never wanted to do that kind of work.
I had my own idea of how to use the land. A little bit of work was all that was needed to turn the land into my own golf netting course. I split the course into three areas.
One area would be used for practicing driving and would be covered with driving range netting, while the other would be used to practice putting. My driving had really taken a backseat to my putting, so I was really excited to start practicing on my course. The last area would be for playing a full golf game.
I hired a worker to cut the lawn on the course once a week, and I let him use the golf course whenever he wants. Sometimes I play a few games with him, and he usually wins because he has a better drive than I do. He's given me a few tips to improve my game, but I think he still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
